Five Kosha Retreat

The five sheaths are not theoretical constructs. They are real parts of your being that you can actually experience. The following eight-step exercise will help you get a fuller sense of these inner dimensions of your personality.

The five koshas beginning from the outermost one are
  • 1. ANNAMAYA KOSHA ( gross physical body)
  • 2. PRANAYAMAYA KOSHA ( the vital body comprising the life force)
  • 3. MANOMAYA KOSHA ( the mindful body)
  • 4. VIGYANAMAYA KOSHA ( the intellectual and reasoning part of the body)
  • 5. ANANDMAYA KOSH ( the pure fearless and blissful body)

The panch koshas or the five sheaths beginning from the physically experienced to the ultimately joyful and pure blissful nature of the self will provide an insight into self and the various forms and aspects of this very self which each and every human being is comprised of

6:30 to 7:30am – Sat karma Mantra chanting
7:30 to 9:00 am - Pancha kosha class
9:00 to 10:00 am - Breakfast
10:00 to 11:30am - Pancha kosha theory
12:30 to 1:30pm – Launch
4:00 to 4:15 pm – Tea Break
4:30 to 6:00 pm – Yoga Practice
7:30pm – Dinner
