The Art of Living

The Art of Living

Our "a reason for being" is different for all of us, but one thing we have in common is that we are all searching for meaning. When we spend our days feeling connected to what is meaningful to us, we live more fully; when we lose the connection, we feel despair. Modern life estranges us more and more from our true nature, making it very easy for us to lead lives lacking in meaning. Powerful forces and incentives (money, power, attention, success )distract us on a daily basis; don't let them take over your life. Follow those things you enjoy, and get away from or change those you dislike. Be led by your curiosity, and keep busy by doing things that fill you with meaning and happiness.
It's doesn't need to be a big thing: We might find meaning in being good parents or in helping our neighbors. Life is not a problem to be solved. Just remember to have something that keeps you busy doing what you love while being surrounded by the people who love you.

Eight-way of long-living :

  • 1. Stay active don't retire :

Those who give up the things they love doing and do well lose their purpose in life. That's why it's so important to keep doing things of value, making progress helping out, and shaping the world around you, even after your official professional activity has ended. Nothing is too late to start or restart. Keep being interested in many things. It will make your senses more stimulate and make yourself younger both inside and outside.

  • 2. Have passion and patience, take it slow :

Have passion, be patient, and take your time to achieve. Being in a hurry is inversely proportional to the quality of our life. As our parents used to say " Don't run, walk slowly" when we were children, it's necessary to take our time with passion and patience until we achieve our goals. For example, suppose you want to be able to Sirsashana (Head standing). To achieve your goal, you have to set a plan. First, practice some balancing poses and be familiar with using your core. You also need to do some Surya namaskar(Sun saltation) to train your whole body. Then, start practicing with the wall, try to lift your leg alternatively. Gradually, you'll get some points on how to maintain your balance, how to overcome your fear while keep practicing.
Above all, we can't do it perfectly at the beginning. So observe yourself and select one thing that you really can do today, and keep continuing every day. At the same time, having passion and patience is also essential to make your mind stronger. When you feel down or about to lose your confidence, ask someone who can really trust to give some advice, or it would be an opportunity to check your current condition and replan to make a progress. Then keep doing again until you'll make it. These are crucial to growing yourself both physically and mentally.

  • 3. Surround yourself with good friends :

Friends are the best medicine, there for confiding worries over a good chat, sharing stories that brighten your day, getting advice, having fun in other words living. Additionally, try to make friends from every generation. Each generation has their own experiences and they will give you something important in your life. Everyone has different backgrounds on their life experiences so you'll find something important to learn and motivate your life when you talk to them. It could be something fresh, new, cheerful, wisdom, strong mind. Or, it could be something you used to have but you've already forgotten in your life.

  • 4. Grow Yourself for next birthday :

Water moves it is at it's best when it flows fresh and doesn't stagnate. The body you move through life needs a bit of daily maintenance to keep it running for a long time. And yoga makes us calm down, release hormones that make us feel happy. More importantly, it will also help you to connect your spiritual part deeply.

  • 5. Smile:

A cheerful attitude is not only relaxing it also helps make is bigger than our problems. Additionally, it's a common passport when you communicate with people from all over the world. The power of a smile is enormous.

  • 6. Reconnect with nature :

Though most people live in cities these days, human beings are made to be part of the natural world. We should return to it often to recharge our batteries. So sometimes, do a digital detox and escape yourself from the busy area to a peaceful place. Go for hiking and touch trees and flowers, see the ocean, river or waterfall, walk on the grass by barefoot, etc... Otherwise, try to wake up early morning and feel the fresh air, then see the Sun and receive the Sun(divine light) power. You will feel the true nature entire of your body and you'll be able to polish your all senses.

  • 7. Give Thanks :

Give thanks to your ancestors, to nature, which provides you with the air you breathe and the food you eat, divine mother earth, your friends and family, Gurus to everything that brightens your days and makes you feel lucky to be alive. Specially thanks to the Universe who give you this beautiful gift the Life .thanks for that energy who always support you. Spend a movement every day giving thanks, and you'll watch your stockpile of happiness grow.

  • 8. Live in the Moment :

Stop regretting the past and fearing the future. Today is all you have. Make the most of it. Make it worth remembering.
